Unique semi-enclosed, open air cafe a few blocks off the Strand in Manhattan Beach. The menu covers breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner with traditional American diner food and also a few Korean dishes. Despite being so extensive, everything is delicious and well executed. There's also a kids' menu, dessert, and a great selection of espresso drinks, really good smoothies, and milkshakes! All the food was fantastic, and service was quick and friendly. The fried zucchini spears are a must! I love the cafe interior -- it's hard to capture fully in a photo. Wood-paneled walls, cozy tables and booths, some low stone walls, topped or hung with orchids, staghorn ferns, and other tropical foliage. Amazing place, full of character and really good food.

Came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and we got a spot easily. This restaurant is so cute and is bigger than it looks from the outside. They have a good amount of seating inside and a few tables outside next to the street to choose from. It was the holiday season so they had a bunch of Christmas lights and decorations hung up which I loved! Christmas vibes by the beach.... YES PLEASE! Our waitress was super nice and attentive. The food was super yummy and came out fast. The mimosa flights were mix and match and hit the spot. I got the white peach, Hawaiian and lavender honey. They were all super yummy but my favorite was the white peach. They come in pretty small glasses but they will last you the entire lunch which was nice. Parking isn't easy here so I would recommend parking in the parking structure a few blocks down the street and walking over. I definitely will be coming back!

The decor and atmosphere is very cute. Very green and full of plants. The staff is very attentive and the brunch here is very good. I had the bistro breakfast sandwich and my friend had the pork Benedict and breakfast tacos that they loved. The parking is gonna be hard given it's paid and limited in Manhattan beach. The place only seats once your party is here so I suggest having everyone meet so you can get a seat. It wasn't too busy in that sense so I think you won't have to wait long regardless.

Such a cute little beach front restaurant with a variety on the menu to choose from. The waitress was very sweet but just a little flirty, which i didn't appreciate with my husband

Solid 5 stars for this place. Why? They have: Excellent service Excellent food Amazing atmosphere What can I say about this place? It's a great place to come spend time with friends OR family. The food is delicious. The menu has so many options that no one in your party will go hungry. Swing by, give it a try.... this place literally and figuratively rocks.

My friends are staying in Manhattan Beach and we did a pick up order for lunch to eat back at the house. Sloopy's had such great reviews and is just a 5 minute walk from their rental...we were keen to check in out The food did not disappoint! Albeit a little bit on the pricier end for beach side food....the portions were extremely generous and quality of ingredients was pretty good My faves were the Chinese chicken salad and zucchini sticks. The flavor of the spicy tuna crispy rice was good but the rice was too soggy either from the heavy sauces or travel in a to go box...so was slightly disappointed the crispy rice didn't have any crunch. Other than that all the other items were great and we can't wait to dine in at Sloopy's and try more of their dishes!

Delicious cafe for a quick bite to eat in the Manhattan Beach area! Overall highly recommend for a casual lunch or a pre-beach day bite! Food - enjoyed my vegetarian wrap, it was so tasty. The Asian Coleslaw was incredible!! I would go back just to have that again. Some canned beer options were available but no full bar. Food options were great for meat eaters, vegetarians & vegans alike! Service - casual/beach cafe vibes, food did take a bit to come out but it seemed like a slow day there overall. Ambiance - such a cute/quirky cafe that looked almost like a garden! It was nice to sit at a table near the window & face the street.
